Friday's Haiku
stark moonlight
blankets barren ground
soft as snow
next morning
a crunch underfoot
broken grass

soft as snow

a crunch underfoot
broken grass

Today's Haiku...and apology
Before I share today's haiku, I need to apologize for being absent from my blog yesterday. Like stuffing paper into the chinks of a drafty stone wall, I try to fit things that are important to me into each day. Keeping my blog updated is one of those important things. It's just that some days have too many drafts in my wall and I can not tend to each one.
In that light, a message of hope:
rowboats beached
atop grassy dunes
tide is near
